Welcome to LoveFirst Community

WHO WE ARE

Our Vision & Mission

With a net-work of partners, religious or secular, LoveFirst Community works to model God’s Love through word and action.

Our mission is to strengthen the Beloved Community through service in our neighborhood and throughout the world.

This is a place where faith, family, and compassion come together to build something beautiful in Loveland, Colorado.

We are a Christ-centered congregation formed through the joyful merger of First Christian Church and First Baptist Church,

united by a shared mission to live out God’s love in everything we do.

Our Focus on Children

During these turbulent times, we are particularly focused on the vital concern for the well-being of children and their families.

We believe love starts at home and that includes every kind of home. Our children’s and youth ministries are built to nurture faith through fun, learning, and meaningful relationships in a safe and welcoming environment.

Prayer and Care

You are not alone. Our community is here to support you in prayer and presence. Share a request privately, include it in our worship bulletin, or request a personal call from an elder.

Worship Through Music

Our praise singers and musicians are an essential part of our worship experience. Bringing spirit, creativity, and harmony to every service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the music contemporary or traditional?

It is a mixture of both! We believe that there is richness, beauty, and truth in both traditional and contemporary forms of worship, and we seek to utilize the depth of both in a single service. What does that mean? On a “normal Sunday,” you are likely to hear the congregation singing songs written by everyone from Cody Carnes and Audrey Assad to the Gaithers to Isaac Watts and Charles Wesley, and accompanied by the organ, piano, a choir, guitar and bass, and percussion.

What should I expect during service?

Worship at LoveFirst blends the richness of tradition with the vibrancy of contemporary expression, all within a liturgical rhythm. You can expect a meaningful mix of modern worship songs and classic hymns, woven together with scripture, prayer, and preaching.

We celebrate Communion every week and everyone is welcome to take part. The elements are fully gluten-, dairy-, nut-, and alcohol-free and will be brought to you during the service. Participation is always your choice, with no pressure to receive.

When does the church meet?

We gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for Worship.  Those interested can join us as early as 9:00 a.m. for donuts, coffee and fellowship.

Where is LoveFirst Community?

We gather at 2000 N. Lincoln Avenue in Loveland CO. The joint service of First Christian Church and First Baptist Church meets here.

What about my kids?

We’re blessed with a dedicated team of volunteers who lead engaging lessons for our young disciples, ages 12 and under, during the sermon each week.

Before that time, children are encouraged to join in worship with the whole congregation and will return to the sanctuary to share in Communion with their church family. Activity bags with snacks, small toys, and quiet activities are available near the welcome table for children to enjoy during the service.

For little ones who need extra room to move, our Toddler Area in the Gallery provides a comfortable space where the service can still be seen and heard.

How should I dress?

Come just as you are.
At LoveFirst, you’ll see everything from suits and ties to jeans, t-shirts—even the occasional sports jersey. What matters most to us isn’t what you wear, but that you feel truly welcome.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking available in the South lot (access via E. 20th Street).  This area also gives you easiest access to our main entrance.

There is also parking in the North lot (access from Lincoln Ave). This entrance gets you to the kitchen and classrooms. A little weaving through the building will get you to our gathering area.

What if I have mobility needs?

We have ADA parking in both the South (access via E. 20th Street) and North (access via N. Lincoln Avenue) lots.

Additionally, push-button building access is available on the East side of the building. Our entire sanctuary is ADA accessible and there are additional spaces available for those in wheelchairs.
